What qualifications do I need to study make-up?
Applicants must have completed grade 10 and be 17 years or older. A grade 12 certificate is preferred. Applicants under 18 years of age will be required to attend a preliminary interview accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Applicants need no prior makeup or art experience to apply. Courses cover all basics necessary. There is no maximum age limit for applicants. Talent is not limited by age!
What qualifications do I need to study beauty therapy?
Applicants must have completed a Matric (Grade 12) or an level 4 equivalent. Learners need to contact the academy to book an enrollment interview with the registrar where all the courses and procedures will be explained to the learner and their sponsor.
Does Face To Face Beauty & Make-up Design School offer bursaries?
Unfortunately, we do not offer bursaries.

What is an International Accreditation?
Face to Face Beauty & Make-up Design School, is recognized and accredited by all the national and international professional accreditation and membership organizations, including the Services Seta (3725), ITEC, and CITY & GUILDS.
On completion of any of the full training programmes our learners will have the opportunity to write the international membership examinations which will give them an opportunity to work abroad. Our national accreditation is through the Services Seta.
What is the job description of a Make-up Artist?
A Make-up Artist is responsible for visually transforming people’s appearance via make-up, paint, wigs, and other accessories. Make-up Artists have the ability to determine the correct material and application according to lighting, setting and physical facial features.
What is the job description of a Beauty Therapist?
Beauty Therapists perform various non-medical face and body treatments using their knowledge of skin biology, skin physiology and cosmetic chemistry. They provide skin and hair removal treatments, massage therapy, as well as manicures and pedicures.
